Job Location: Ventura, California, U.S.A. (WTI's Corporate Headquarters).

Software Design Engineer

Job Description: Software engineer with strong technical skills needed to support ongoing and emerging pan/tilt/zoom camera and video interface products. Responsibilities would include development of camera and video product user interface software and embedded firmware. Candidate would support requirement analysis, design, development, integration and testing of products.

Security Clearance: Existing clearance not required. Positions at WTI may require U.S. citizenship for purposes of obtaining clearance, if needed.

Qualifications: Must have experience in complex software system development including real-time embedded firmware programming (PIC experience preferred), RS-485 serial communications and Windows GUI programming. Strong background in either C++ or JAVA programming required. Experience with web based IP video applications a real plus. Strong technical writing and oral communication skills required.

Experience Required: 4 years minimum.

Education Required: BS degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Electronics, or Engineering.
